IT Intern (Primary Focus: Coding) – 6 months

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Intern with a strong coding background to join our IT department soon. As an IT Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development and maintenance of our data landscape.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the IT manager to maintain and continuously develop our data landscape.

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation using SSMS, Qlik, Logic Apps, and Azure Data Factory.

• Develop and maintain Qlik applications using QlikScript to provide insightful data visualizations and analytics.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of VB.NET Web Jobs.

• Utilize Azure services such as Logic Apps, Data Factory, API Management, and Blob Storage for data integration, automation, and management tasks.

• Utilize existing knowledge of REST, JSON, and OAuth2 protocols for API development and integration, while also demonstrating a willingness to expand and deepen expertise in these areas.

• Develop and maintain HTML/CSS templates for automated email communications.

What we are looking for:

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but candidates from lower academic levels, such as MBO IT Level 4 with relevant skills and experience are also encouraged to apply.

• EU/EEA citizenship or a valid student visa.

• Someone who can start sooner rather than later.

• Very good command of English, both written and verbal is a must. Very good command of Dutch, both written and verbal, is not mandatory but is a plus.

• Strong proficiency in SQL with experience using SSMS, Logic Apps, and Azure Data Factory.

• Familiarity with QlikScript for developing Qlik applications is a plus.

• Understanding of database concepts and the ability to develop databases would be a plus.

• Proficiency in VB.NET for Web Jobs development.

• Knowledge of Azure services such as Logic Apps, Data Factory, API Management, and Blob Storage.

• General understanding of API concepts including REST, JSON, and OAuth2.

• Experience with HTML/CSS for automated email templates.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
