SparkOptimus DEI Commitment Statement

At SparkOptimus, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) are not aspirations we work toward someday, but they are principles we actively embed in how we work, hire, develop our people, and show up in the world today.

Our commitment We are committed to building an inclusive, equitable workplace where every person, regardless of gender, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, cultural background, or any other identity, can thrive. This commitment applies across our operations, our talent practices, our client relationships, and our role in the broader community. It is approved and championed by our leadership team.

How we approach this today We translate our commitment into concrete action across three areas:

Within our team: We run annual employee surveys that explicitly cover DEI-related themes such as belonging, fairness, and inclusion, and we use the outcomes to inform our people priorities. Participation is always voluntary and anonymous. We support employee-led groups, including SparkPride, our internationals community, and our women-in-consulting group, and give these groups the time, space, and resources to operate independently and meaningfully.

In how we hire: We include our DEI commitment in all job postings, have a policy of not requesting salary histories from candidates, and actively work to reduce bias throughout our recruitment process, from inclusive job description language to structured selection criteria.

In how we grow our people: We offer mentorship opportunities to all employees, provide leave policies that go beyond legal minimums (including gender affirmation leave, parental leave, adoption leave, and interchangeable religious/cultural holidays), and run annual DEI-themed training, most visibly our annual Pride training.

Looking forward We review and update our DEI actions annually based on employee feedback and data. Our leadership team holds accountability for progress and ensures our commitment continues to translate into meaningful action.
